At Eyo's Laser clinic, we specialise in treating superficial leg veins, such as spider veins and other small, visible red veins, using the state-of-the-art Motus AY laser system. This advanced technology, powered by the Nd:YAG laser, offers a safe and effective solution for reducing the appearance of these veins, helping you achieve flawless, clearer skin on your legs. The Motus AY technology, exclusively supplied in the UK by Lynton, is the Gold Standard in laser vascular treatments.
Superficial leg veins, such as spider veins, develop due to a variety of factors, including genetics, hormonal changes, prolonged standing or sitting, and aging. These veins are close to the surface of the skin and are often red or purple in colour, making them a cosmetic concern for many people.
These are small, thin veins that appear close to the skin's surface, often in a web-like pattern. They are usually red, blue, or purple and are most commonly found on the legs.

The Motus AY utilises scientifically proven 1064nm Nd:YAG laser, delivering excellent technology for leg veins. The system offers safe and effective treatments, providing comfort and noticeable results for clients dealing with leg veins
The Motus AY laser targets the haemoglobin within the blood vessels. The laser energy heats the vein walls, causing them to collapse and be reabsorbed by the body over time. This process reduces or eliminates the appearance of the vein on the skin’s surface.
During the session, the laser will be applied to the targeted veins. Most clients experience minimal discomfort, often described as a quick, sharp sensation.
Most clients begin to see improvement after the first session, with full results becoming more apparent after several weeks as the veins continue to fade. Depending on the severity of the veins, multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired results.
The Motus AY laser system is highly effective for treating a range of vascular skin conditions, however, it is important to note that this treatment is not suitable for blue or raised vessels, or varicose veins. If you have these conditions, alternative treatments may be required. A consultation with one of our experienced clinicians will help determine if the Motus AY is the right option for your specific needs.
After treatment, you may experience slight redness or swelling in the treated area, which typically subsides within a few hours to a day. You’ll receive specific aftercare instructions to maximise your results.
